The Journey
From a young age, I had the gift of gab — always the most talkative, always something to say. My grandmother, Ruth Brown, worked tirelessly in the cafeteria while also balancing the books for my grandfather, George Brown’s successful auto body shop in the ‘60s. I saw firsthand what it meant to serve others with dedication, skill, and heart. Their legacy of hard work and servant leadership planted the seed of entrepreneurship in me from the start.
I nurtured that seed by investing in my natural talents—earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees in communications. But it was in the vibrant, fast-paced world of hospitality that I found my true calling: mixology. Working in restaurants, hotels, and clubs, I discovered that crafting cocktails wasn’t just about making drinks—it was about creating experiences. It was about listening, understanding, and delivering a moment that felt personal and memorable.
With over a decade of experience in the industry, Cocktails by ChrissyT was born from this belief: that every cocktail tells a story, every event is an opportunity to connect, and every client deserves an experience tailored just for them. Inspired by my grandparents’ dedication to service, I approach mixology as more than just mixing drinks—I see it as a form of communication, an exchange of commonalities over cocktails, where listening with love transforms simple ingredients into unforgettable moments.
